The amount of plastics dumped into the ocean raises alarm. It will havoc the habitat for ocean lives and humane as well on the planet. Of course that plastics are the culprit. Some people immediately called it out: Ban all the plastics, for the ocean and the world!

It sounds great, yes, let’s ban all plastics. Wow, that’s so fast and simple to find the solution. Is it a responsible call? Will the solution work?

Absolutely not! The call actually misses the real target: single use plastics. And ban on all plastics is detrimental to all the efforts in saving the oceans.
